Terms of Service for Northyxa

Effective as of 2025. Welcome to Northyxa, your go-to destination for outdoor activities and hiking adventures across Canada. By accessing northyxa.com or booking any service, infoproduct, or good through Northyxa, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. General Terms

These terms govern your use of Northyxa’s website, services, digital products, and physical goods. All offerings are provided by Northyxa, located at 290 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto, ON M5V 3L9, Canada.

2. Services

Northyxa provides guided hiking tours, outdoor excursions, and personalized itinerary planning. Each service description outlines specific details, duration, and pricing. By confirming a booking, you acknowledge any health and safety requirements and agree to our participant guidelines.

2.1 Cancellations and Rescheduling

• If you cancel a guided tour more than 72 hours before the start time, you may reschedule once at no additional charge via contact form. A second reschedule request may incur a fee of 15% of the service price.
• Cancellations between 48 and 72 hours before the start time are eligible for a credit toward a future booking, equal to 50% of the original service price.
• No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the service start time are not eligible for any credit or refund.
• In the event that Northyxa cancels an activity due to weather or safety concerns, you will receive a full credit for future service or, upon request, a refund as outlined in Section 5.

2.2 Non-Refundable Services

Custom itinerary planning and private expeditions require significant preparation. These services are non-refundable once confirmed, as resources and time are committed to your bespoke adventure.

3. Infoproducts

Infoproducts include downloadable guides, digital trail maps, and educational materials. All infoproducts are delivered electronically upon purchase.

• You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided the infoproduct has not been downloaded or accessed.
• No credit or refund will be issued if the infoproduct has been accessed or downloaded, due to the nature of digital delivery.

4. Goods

Northyxa offers branded outdoor apparel, gear, and equipment. All goods are subject to availability and ship from our Toronto facility.

• Goods may be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging.
• A restocking fee of 10% applies to unopened goods returned for a credit.
• To initiate a return, complete the form at contact form and ship the item to our address.
• Credits for returned goods will be processed within 10 business days to the original method of payment.

5. Refund Policy

Northyxa offers refunds or credits depending on the type of offering and timing of your request. Below is a summary of our policy:

• Guided Services: Full credit for cancellations by Northyxa. Participant-initiated cancellations may yield credits as described in Section 2.1. No credits for last-minute cancellations.
• Non-Refundable Services: Custom planning services are not eligible for credits or refunds once confirmed.
• Infoproducts: Eligible for a full refund within 14 days if not accessed. No refunds post-download.
• Goods: Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days for credit, minus a 10% restocking fee.

All credit issues and approved reimbursements are processed through our billing department within 10 business days of approval. Any questions regarding the status of a credit or refund request can be directed via the contact form.

6. Liability and Indemnification

Participants assume all risks associated with outdoor activities. Northyxa is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or delays beyond our control. You agree to indemnify Northyxa against any claims arising from your participation.

7. Amendments

Northyxa reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
